SKUPrep audits every product against the structured data agents actually use — GTIN, brand, category and its attributes, variants, alt text, description structure — scores your store 0–100, and fixes what is missing in bulk.
Nothing is applied automatically. Every proposed change goes through an approval queue with a before/after diff. Every write is read back from Shopify and verified. Every change can be rolled back.

How a fix works
- The audit finds a gap and SKUPrep proposes a concrete value.
- An AI-extracted value carries the exact quote from your product text it came from. If a value cannot be traced back to your own copy, it is dropped rather than guessed.
- You see a before/after diff and approve what you want.
- Approved changes are applied in batches, then read back from Shopify and verified.
- If someone edited the product in Shopify after the fix was proposed, SKUPrep skips it instead of overwriting their work.
- Any batch — or any single change — can be rolled back to its exact previous value.
What it will never do
- Change a price or compare-at price.
- Change inventory quantities.
- Change product status — nothing gets published or unpublished.
- Invent a GTIN, SKU or weight. Those are only ever written from a value you typed.
- Create or delete products.
